If you’re a comprehensive truck insurance policyholder, the cost of repairing damage to your truck due to a collision, severe weather, fire, theft and vandalism will be assessed on its merits and on a case by case basis depending on the individual claims criteria of the underwriter.
If you’re a comprehensive or third party property policyholder, the underwriter will review on a case by case basis and depending on the individual claims criteria of the underwriter, the liability for the damage your truck causes to other people’s property, including their cars and homes.
If you’re a comprehensive policyholder, and in a motor claim event you require a vehicle tow, this will need to be paid by you in the first instance. Once a motor claim is lodged and accepted by the underwriter we can then assist you to claim these costs back from the underwriter. However note that the liability for the tow cost is not guaranteed and the underwriter will review this on a case by case basis depending on the claims criteria of the underwriter.
